Meet the Doctors

Dr. Shannon L. Bone, D.C. graduated Cum Laude from Life University in 2000. He is Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner and also one of the only approximately 250 doctors nationwide trained in the Pettibon System. Dr. Bone is Board Director for the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and also a member of the International Chiropractic Association. Dr. Bone is a member and past Board Director for the Jackson Rotary Club.

Dr. Meagan M. von Holtz, D.C. was born and raised in a small town in central New York State. She earned her B.A. in Neuroscience from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and received her doctorate of chiropractic with Summa Cum Laude honors from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. In 2006 she joined the team at Back Pain Relief Clinic. Her post-graduate training includes courses in nutrition, scoliosis, pediatrics, extremity adjusting, and chiropractic neurology. She loves the Tennessee sun and in her free time is trying to bring some of the New England perennial gardening she grew up with into her backyard. She swam competitively from the age of seven through college, and is beginning to train for triathlons. She also thoroughly enjoys volunteering her time with the young adult ministry in her church. |

Dr. Malissa Flagg, D.C. is originally from Newbern, Tennessee. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree as well as a second Bachelors in Human Biology from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Flagg joined the Back Pain Relief Clinic team in 2008. She and her husband, Garrett, currently reside in Medina with their daughter Lily. They are expecting another girl in May. Dr. Flagg is a member of the South Jackson Civitans club and First United Methodist Church in Medina. In her free time, she enjoys trips to the beach, Cardinal baseball, and spending time with her wonderful family and friends.

Dr. Brian M. Sykes, D.C. is a native of Henry County having lived most of his life in the Puryear community. A 1994 graduate of Henry County High School, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Tennessee at Martin. He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors from Life University in Marietta, GA. He has been in practice since 2002 having previous offices in Paris and Parsons, TN. Dr. Sykes joined the Back Pain Relief Clinic team in February 2010. He is married to wife, Gala, and they have a son, Hayden. Dr. Sykes is active in his home community where he is a Puryear City Alderman as well as a member and Trustee of the Puryear United Methodist Church. Dr. Sykes is a member of the Dresden Rotary Club and enjoys spending time with friends and family. |

Dr. Brandon M. Fitch, D.C. joined our clinic in April 2011 from Fayetteville, Arkansas He attended the University of Arkansas and Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He holds degrees in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic. He and his wife, Meghan, are excited to start their family here in Tennessee. |

Dr. Mark Fowler is our clinic director. He has been directing the clinic since April 2010. Dr. Fowler’s professional background began as a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He practiced law for several years and later decided to go back to school and receive his Doctor of Medicine. He has practiced as a Medical Doctor for several years and is currently an emergency room physician. Dr. Fowler has received many honors and recognition as both a lawyer and physician. He has also co authored and published many articles. Dr. Fowler currently resides in Union City, TN with his wife Sue. He is the father of Sara (23 years), Rebecca (1989-1993) and Rachel (12 years). Naomi Watson, PA-C graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisiana with a B.S. in Biology. She graduated magna cum laude with a second B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Her major areas of interest are trigger point relaxation and stress reduction. Naomi is dedicated to helping others live life as free of pain as possible. |

Britney Petway, FNP-BC is a native of Jackson, TN. She graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and received her Master’s of Science in Nursing with summa cum laude honors from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. Britney is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. She is an active member of Wortham Chapel Baptist Church as well as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. |

Sherri Bone |
Sherri was born and raised in Camden, Tennessee. She attended Bethel College (University) in McKenzie, Tennessee where she played basketball. She graduated from Bethel in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She now lives in Medina, Tennessee with her husband Shane and two daughters Brylee and Brea. Sherri joined Back Pain Relief Clinic in 2002 and is now the Business Manager. Her first love away from the clinic is spending time with her sweet girls and husband. She also enjoys traveling, boating, softball and UT football. Sherri loves her job and what the miracle of chiropractic treatment has done for our patients. |
Kelly Gullett |
Kelly was born at Pease Air Force Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She was raised and went to school in Selmer, Tennessee. She graduated from McNairy Central High School in 2000 and graduated from West Tennessee Business College in 2003 with a certification in Office Specialist. Kelly began working for the Back Pain Relief Clinic in 2005 and is now the Office Manager. Away from her job she enjoys spending her time with her niece, Kristen and nephew, Mason. She also enjoys attending NASCAR races and traveling. Kelly enjoys getting to see how Chiropractic changes so many peoples lives. |
Cassie Qualls |
Cassie graduated from Tennessee Technology Center in Jackson with a diploma in Administrative Assistant. She has been the receptionist at the Back Pain Relief Clinic for 2 years. Cassie is also a Certified Chiropractic Therapy Assistant. She has been married for 2 years and has a son named Peyton. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing softball in the summer and fall with Taylor Law Firm. Cassie enjoys her job and the great results that patients get from seeking chiropractic care. |
Samone Sain |
Samone is a native of Jackson. After graduating high school she attended Lane College. She joined the Back Pain Relief Clinic’s team the Fall of 2010. Samone performs many of the therapeutic duties that play a vital role in our patients’ success. She loves the patients and the caring environment that is provided for them. George Alexander |
George is 50 years old and was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He spent most of his life in the Western United States but went to high school in Selmer, Tennessee. After suffering for many years with severe back and neck pain, he discovered the Back Pain Relief Clinic as a patient. While spending so much time at the clinic for his wellness the Back Pain Relief Clinic decided to bring him on as an employee. He has been a great asset to the team. He really enjoys helping others get better as he did. He gives God all the glory for leading him to the clinic. Cathy grew up in Middle Tennessee where most of her family still lives. She moved to Lexington in July 2010 from Murfreesboro. Since she is new to the area, she enjoys finding new places that she has never been and meeting new people. She has been working at Back Pain Relief Clinic since November 2010. |
Amber Taylor |
Amber was born and raised in Lexington, TN where she now resides with her husband, Chris and their two children Aiden and Makayla. She graduated in 2006 from West Tennessee Business College with a diploma in Medical Assisting. She joined the Back Pain Relief Clinic in February 2011 and enjoys her duties as a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant. One thing that surprised her the most about Chiropractic care is that is is usually the last place a person thinks to go when they are in pain, but it should really be the first step to getting relief and becoming a healthier person. ambert@backpainreliefclinic.net |
Doris Suey |
Doris is the insurance specialist for the Back Pain Relief Clinic North. She has over 10 years of experience with billing and coding. Doris looks forward to helping patients with any insurance questions. Doris has recently moved to Tennessee along with her husband of 22 years and their two teenage sons. Doris and her family moved from St Louis, MO and they have really enjoyed the southern culture. Doris and her husband Tony have 3 children, 1 girl who resides in Phoenix, AZ with their precious granddaughter and their 2 boys are still at home. Kyle Perry |
Kyle was born in Baton Rouge, LA. She moved to Jackson when she was 11 years old. She is married to Rusty Perry and they have 5 sons. Kyle is the marketing representative for the clinic and does most of her work outside the clinic. She has been a vital employee to our clinic since 2003. |
Amber Wells |
Amber has been a team member of the Back Pain Relief Clinic since 2008. She is a 2005 graduate of Chester County High School and attended Jackson State Community College.
Amber and her husband Charlie resides in Henderson and they been blessed with two boys, Brady and Chase. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with my family and friends. She currently works at our South location as a Certified Chiropractic Therapy Assistant and Chiropractic X-Ray Technologist. Brittney Grooms |
Brittney is a 2006 graduate of Greenfield High School. She is married to her best friend Patrick Grooms. She has worked for the Back Pain Relief Clinic since 2009. Brittney is a certified Chiropractic Therapy Assistant and Chiropractic X-Ray Technologist. She loves her job. Brittney performs many of the duties that allows the office to run smooth and efficiently. She performs a variety of rehabilitative therapies and takes all the X-Rays for the Dresden clinic. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing with her dog Bailee. She looks forward to helping you and your family with your spinal health check ups! |
Amber Mullins

Amber lives in Jackson with her husband, Drew, and their 3 kids, Jaden, Jordan and Jacob. She studied at West Tennessee Business College and achieved her MA. She works in the North Jackson office and is currently in school at Jackson State pursuing her BAS. Amber joined Back Pain Relief Clinic in 2011. |
